If he does not get any larger he could be athletic enough to play LF...he would be a good 1B candidate but we have Tex for 7 or so more years so that is not going to happen. That is another reason I cannot see him remaining a Yankee. Given that Romine will be a solid hitter and a much better defense catcher than Montero with Cervelli serving as a more than able back up here in 2011-2012 I dont see where Montero fits.
