And as usual, I am always open to being corrected. I still have high hopes for AJ and am praying Hughes makes it through the season healthy.

however, he was wrong about hughes being a waste and the character of the team. fantastically wrong about the character i might add. the character was one of the best parts of this team. all the pies, nick swisher, c.c., tex, jeter, a-rod being low key, all of it worked so perfect, i loved this team and will always hold a soft spot for them in my heart for years and years.

Its odd Ryan this team for me was one of my least favorite of all the title teams. IN fact I think it might be my least favorite of the ones I have seen.
Top 5 in order 77 78 96 98 00 The first couple are always the most special. This team I never really connected with, and I dont know why although I have a feeling it is the fact that so many of them were purchased on the open market like mercenaries. Perhaps in 3 -4 years CC AJ and Tex will become favorites of mine but not now. I was happy for the vets to get one more together at least before Andy and Jorge retire. Michael

I though the Tex Sigining was big for us. As much as the position at 1b doesnt need a GG/top notch calibre player we have been mediocre since Tino left the team. I also think Alex keeping his mouth shut and finally becoming a team player was the key. Lets hope Gardner can pick it up at the plate and Long can get Grandy to go the other way instead of being pull happy with our short porch
